Event Production and Management Internship – For Hire in Toronto

You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, learning, and growth, from brainstorming sessions to onsite setup.

Location: North York (Toronto)

Perfect for: University students, co-op participants, or recent graduates hungry for hands-on experience

Details: This internship is unpaid, and job responsibilities can change, bringing fresh and exciting challenges. It typically spans 90-120 days, with a minimum onsite commitment of 16 hours per week. Your presence may be required during event weeks, weekends, and occasionally beyond midnight for events. You must be comfortable with this setup before applying.

Earn College Credit: You can earn college credit for your internship experience. We suggest consulting your academic advisor to understand the process specific to your institution.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in event planning, production, and management 
  • Assist in client appointments, walk-ins, and pickups
  • Respond to and follow up on event inquiries promptly
  • Prepare quotes, invoices, contracts, and handle phone calls
  • Process payments and issue receipts
  • Schedule and host site visits
  • Perform event setup and teardown tasks
  • Prepare, pack, unpack, and clean client orders and rental items
  • Ensure venue cleanliness after events
  • Confirm cleanliness and proper storage of decor, tools, and equipment
  • Pack, clean, and handle inventory carefully
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote our brand and events
  • Handle data entry tasks, including research, bookkeeping, and cash flow management
  • Perform general office maintenance and some website tasks
  • Engage in crafting and painting tasks
  • Assist with any other event-related duties
